Spiritual purification is the process of cleansing the body, mind, and spirit of negative thoughts, emotions, and karma. It is a process of transformation that leads to greater peace, happiness, and enlightenment.
Om Mani Padme Hum is a six-syllabled mantra in Tibetan Buddhism that is associated with the bodhisattva of compassion, Avalokiteshvara. The mantra can be translated in a number of ways, but some common interpretations include:
"The jewel in the lotus"
"Praise to the jewel in the lotus"
"The wisdom of compassion"
"The union of method and wisdom"
The mantra is often chanted, recited, or simply meditated upon. It can be used to create a sacred space or to connect with the divine.
